Here is a quick update on what's new for 2017 and what's coming up in Arts Society Training
New format New Chairmen’s Days at Guilford Street
This year The Arts Society are introducing a new format for New Society Chairmen’s Days. Feedback for these Days has been always been positive, however frequently attendees felt that, given the amount of content, it was far too rushed. The organisers have taken on board that feedback and, in order to make the event more worthwhile, have changed it into a two day course with an overnight stay in London. Both days will be full of well-paced content to help you in your new and exciting role as Chairman. The evening will be spent networking with colleagues from around the country over dinner. After dinner you will have the opportunity to hear a 'New to The Arts Society' Lecturer!
The Arts Society will pay for your food and accommodation whilst Societies will pay for your travel as before. We recognise the importance of the role of Society Chairman and have designed this two-day event to ensure that you are equipped with the tools you need to run your Society effectively and confidently. Both new Chairmen and Chairmen-designates are welcome.
The dates planned are:
23 & 24 February 2017
25 & 26 April 2017
27 & 28 June 2017
24 & 25 October 2017
In order for partsicipants to get the most out of the New Chairmen’s courses numbers will be limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. To book your place or for more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org
